“T-D we want a Touchdown!” Come out and cheer for our youth football teams. Girls ages 6 – 12 learn cheers and halftime routines. Squads cheer for their corresponding age group in our tackle football league. Practices conducted two times per week at Oconee Veterans Park, beginning August 17. Practices conducted Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:15 -7:15 p.m. Once football games begin, practices will only be conducted on Thursday evenings with games on Tuesdays at a park or local school. Program conducted August 7 – October 23. Registration deadline is August 6. Cheer uniform and pompoms provided. Cheer uniform fitting day is Saturday, August 7, at Herman C. Michael Park Gym. Age groups will be assigned times for uniform fittings. Fee: $125.
